One Millions Moms find the Devil Tempting

… isn’t that the point?

Fox has a new series called Lucifer and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The interesting bits focus on Lucifer Morningstar living in the modern world, having abandoned Hell and building relationships with mortals. Sadly, it’s set against a cop procedural, which, well, blech. At least the performances are strong and the soundtrack is killer.

Noted group of self-important idiots and liars (these are the same people that went after Dungeons & Dragonsthe MuppetsDisney, and Ellen Degeneres, for example of how much they hate anything progressive, topical, or fun), feel that Tom Ellis’ performance as Lucifer is “cool and irresistible to women.”

He’s the Devil, people. As Samael, he was supposed to be the most beautiful angel in Heaven, the Star of Morning. Of course he’s tempting. And anti-hero Satans have been common since Paradise Lost, so check yourselves.

Besides, if Lucifer can’t escape it’s cop procedural roots, it might just wither away due to apathy. Play to your strengths, show: work that awesome light-bringing magic you do so well.

All of you “geeks” are devil worshipers, stop your wicked ways and embrace Jesus.

When you know the name of the God you claim to worship, give us a shout. Until then, watch the show: Lucifer is coming to understand altruism and morality, and might even find redemption — which, I suspect, might be the entire point.

Jesus is Lord, it is written in 1 Corinthians 12:3. If you really want to understand morality just come back to the lord. You’ll find your redemption with Jesus, not on some sin worshiping television show.

And Yanks 154:14 says “Shammadamma,” and I think my understanding of God differs from yours. Which, you know, cool. Mine won’t condemn you to hell for all eternity for not believing in him, for example.

I’m not looking for my redemption – I know where that lies – but the show you’re protesting does a better job exploring and explaining your faith than you have. You might want to give it a watch before passing judgment.
